All about the HyroTrader Bug Bounty Program
Whether you’re a HyroTrader, a crypto degen, or just starting out, the Bug Bounty Program is open to anyone interested in helping us improve our platform.
This is especially appealing for our current traders or traders interested in opening an account on our platform, since the rewards are free Challenge Accounts with trading capital ranging from $5K to $200K. Successfully completing the Challenge means getting a funded trading account with real capital at HyroTrader, which would enable you to scale your trading career with our leading crypto prop firm, without risking your own funds.
In order to give everyone the chance to test our platform and report bugs in a completely risk-free environment, you can participate using a free Demo Account.
We encourage you to explore all aspects of our platform, from UI elements to trade execution and security features. Every valid, complete bug report will be evaluated, and rewards will be issued in proportion to the severity of the issue reported.
Reward Structure
The severity of the bug you submit will determine the size of the free Challenge Account you receive, with trading capital ranging from $5,000 to $200,000:
🟢 Low Severity: $5K Challenge Account
🟡 Medium Severity: $5K – $25K Challenge Account
🔴 High Severity: $50K – $100K Challenge Account
🚨 Critical Severity: $200K Challenge Account
Validity and severity are determined by the extent to which the bug affects trading accuracy, platform integrity, user experience, or security.
Bugs are ranked from low, medium, high, to critical. Examples are:
🟢 Low Severity: Incorrect reflection of account metrics, UI errors, misconfigurations
🟡 Medium Severity: Incorrect position closure, minor bugs affecting trading flow
🔴 High Severity: Sensitive data exposure, incorrect liquidation price calculation, unauthorized deposit/withdrawal of funds
🚨 Critical Severity: Security exploits, Remote Code Execution, SQL Injection, Significant Authentication / Authorization Bypass
⚠️ Note: If multiple users report the same bug, the first user to send a valid, detailed report will receive the reward.
How to report bugs
To report a bug to HyroTrader, complete the following steps:
- Log in to your HyroTrader account or sign up for a free Demo Account.
- Explore our trading platform and see if you can find bugs 🐛
- Submit your bug report by creating a ticket in the #create-ticket channel on our Discord. Make sure to:
- Describe, in detail, how to produce the bug
- Attach a screenshot or screen recording of the bug whenever possible
That’s all! We’ll respond as soon as possible with an update on the acceptance and status of your report (i.e. confirmed, already reported, etc.).
Please note that all bug reports will be processed manually, so it can take a few days before you hear back from us.
