Prop Firm Pass Rates: What Our Live Numbers Show

Before you pay for a challenge, you can compare deposits, profit splits, and drawdown rules across every firm in the market. The number you can almost never compare is the pass rate.

We publish ours live, on a dashboard anyone can open, because a rate you can check is worth more than a claim you have to take on faith.

What percentage of traders pass prop firm challenges?

On HyroTrader's live dashboard, 13.49 percent of one-step challenges and 8.70 percent of two-step challenges end in a pass, as of September 2026. The figures recalculate as challenges resolve, so the decimals move every week.

Read the other way: 86.51 percent of one-step attempts and 91.30 percent of two-step attempts end without a pass. Fewer than one attempt in seven clears the one-step, fewer than one in eleven clears the two-step, and we would rather you see that before your deposit than after.

Every figure below comes from the same public records, updated as each challenge closes.

Why most attempts fail

A challenge here has no time limit, so an attempt does not run out of road; it ends at a loss limit. Three numbers do the ending. The maximum loss is 6 percent of the initial balance in both models. The daily loss limit is 4 percent on the one-step and 5 percent on the two-step, calculated from initial capital and reset at UTC. And the realized loss on any single position, commissions included, cannot exceed 3 percent of the initial balance.

The default daily limit also trails: it measures from the day's highest equity point, unrealized profit included, so a strong morning raises the floor an afternoon can hit.

Our own upgrade data backs this up. Accounts on the static swing drawdown, which measures from the day's start instead of its peak, show a 53 percent lower failure rate. Part of that is the rule and part is who buys the upgrade, but the direction is hard to argue with.

How to read a pass rate before you pay

A pass rate only prices one side of an attempt; the cost side sits next to it. Here the entry payment is a Refundable Challenge Deposit, $249 for a 25,000 USDT challenge, and it comes back in full once you complete the evaluation and reach your first payout. A failed attempt means a new challenge at full price, with no retry discounts.

On the return side, the average payout on a 25,000 USDT account is $1,007.50, our own figure. The published rate is what turns those pieces into a decision: you weigh the deposit against a real denominator instead of a sales page's mood.

A rate you can check beats a claim you have to trust. If you are still choosing where to attempt, weigh firms on numbers they let you verify. Start with how the top crypto prop firms compare on exactly those checkable facts.

The payout side of the number

Behind the pass rates, the same records show $8,243,872 paid to funded traders, $874,601 of it on-chain with a public transaction id on every payout. The payout wallet itself is public on Solana, and the payout history behind the summary numbers runs 123 pages deep, so "how many traders actually get paid" is a question you can answer by counting transactions rather than by trusting a marketing page.

That is also our honest answer to the percentage version of that question: we publish the records themselves, not a marketed share, and the 2,893 funded traders in the same reading are the denominator to count against. Payouts run on demand and typically process within 12 to 24 hours; the live average sits at 10 hours 23 minutes.

What the traders on the dashboard did differently

Most of them met the limits before the limits carried money, and plenty of them failed first. Traders who start on our free trial show a 30 percent higher success rate once funded, our own statistic. The trial exists for exactly that practice: demo accounts up to 200,000 USDT, no card required, no payouts.

The failures are part of the record too. Nealeem, one of our funded traders, failed five challenges before his approach clicked, and has since taken more than $73,000 in funded payouts trading price action and liquidity zones. A 13 percent pass rate reads differently when you know passes can come from the same people who supplied earlier failures.

If you are shopping for the easiest challenge, the honest question is which rules fit how you already trade; a daily limit that matches your style beats any advertised ease.

We publish the pass rates because we are willing to be judged on them. When your practice runs hold inside the limits, start your challenge and let your own numbers join the dashboard.

Note: the rule numbers quoted here are the published values as of September 2026, and the dashboard figures move as challenges resolve. The trading rules page carries the current binding version of every limit.
